$37.19 per DROS — set by the State of California, collected at the counter when we start your paperwork.

How long does an FFL transfer take?

Once your firearm arrives and your DROS paperwork is started, California requires a 10-day waiting period before pickup. We text you when it lands and again when your wait clears.

What do I bring to pick up my transfer?

A valid California ID (REAL ID or CA driver's license) and your order confirmation. First handgun? You'll also need a Firearm Safety Certificate — we can administer the test in-store.

Can you receive more than one firearm in a single transfer?

Yes — send us the order confirmation and we'll take care of the rest. California limits may affect how many you can DROS at once; we'll walk you through it.

Do you accept private-party transfers?

Yes. California requires private-party sales to go through a licensed dealer — bring the firearm and both parties' IDs and we'll handle the paperwork.
